Welcome to the Smile Quilts Site. Established in June of 2001, by Maria (MercyFaith) Hill. Smile Quilts (Virtual On-Line Quilts) was the first site of its kind, for children with severe illnesses and injuries. We are so glad to have you visiting with us today. We hope your stay will be a pleasant experience, and you will return many times.
Each one of these children suffers from a life-long, life threatening, or terminal illness/injury. We want to help bring a little happiness into their lives and show them just how important and special they are.
Each virtual quilt is personalized for each child by including their pictures,
their favorite colors, special interests, and their family members. Each Smile Quilt also has a unique one of a kind poem, crafted to fit each child's interests or personality, by one of our own Quilting Angels. These quilts are created with love and devotion to the children and their families. We hope you enjoy them.

Virtual On-Line Memorial Quilts are made when requested, for children who have earned their wings. At the present time we are not accepting requests for still borns or miscarriages outside of the Smile Quilts family. We also have our own tribute page for the Smile Quilts Angels, that was done before we began making Memorial Quilts for Smile Quilts children.
