Smile Quilts is a group of Angels on the internet who have come together to make virtual on-line quilts for children who have a lifelong illness/injury, or are terminally ill. Our Quilting Angels are devoted to bringing smiles to our children's faces and the faces of their family, friends, and whoever visits our Smile Quilts.

Each Smile Quilt is unique to the childs personal interests and level of understanding.

Each Smile Quilt consists of a personalized poem for each child written by one of our own Quilting Angels, and a midi is provided with the childs choice of music. Each Memorial, Birthday and Holiday page also has a poem and midi provided.

Memorial Quilts are made for children who already have a Smile Quilt and any others that request a Memorial for a child who has fought hard and lost their struggle for survival. We do not accept still born or miscarriages at this time. Angel Fairy God Mother is making our Memorial Quilts for us at this time.

Smile Quilts has a standard background used for all quilts - our Angels need not worry about making a web page for the Smile Quilts they are making.

Each quilt consists of 36 squares, jpg or gif format, sized at 130 x 130, (9 rows, 4 columns). Please optimize the size of the graphics if possible. We incorporate into each childs quilt their favorite color, their name, interests, parents and family members, and if permission is given, family photos. Please send the squares in ZIP form as attachments to Sprite sprite@tds.net

All the information for each quilt is listed on the childs Request Form for a Smile Quilt.

We like to have the quilt finished and sent to the child in a two week time frame. If this presents a problem, please let Sprite know.

You are not limited to making Quilts .. if you have the time we have other areas such as Poetry, pages for Birthdays, Memorials, and Holidays. Feel free volunteer to help in these areas if time permits.
